Summer Metta Retreat: Wisdom of the Compassionate Heart
August 22 - August 25
Join Samantha for a sweet dip into the Heart Practices as taught by the Buddha. This is a silent retreat, with short optional periods of talking, during dinner.
Practice will be an invitation to meet the qualities of the heart; kindness, compassion and forgiveness. Our main focus will be on resiliency of the heart so that these qualities begin to swoop in to support us in every day life, through difficulties and ease.
Yoga will be offered twice a day with L’Aura Reneau and with Samantha. Yoga will be accessible to all, gentle and restorative in nature, with trauma sensitivity. Dana may be offered to L’Aura Reneau, for morning yoga. There will be a schedule of sitting and walking times, as well as optional free time to sit, walk, journal, take a dip or enjoy a massage with Wren Myers. Wren will be offering massage and payments for services will be made directly to her, at time of service on retreat.
This 4 day, 3 night gathering, is a perfect way to dip your toes into silent practice if you are a beginner as well as a sweet way to gain momentum with your practice if you are a long time practitioner.
